BHK seeks full-time, school-year preschool teacher with an understanding of curriculum and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
*Responsibilities:*
· Maintain a respectful, nurturing, and engaging environment that encourages growth and learning of 3 and 4-year-olds.
· Promote school readiness by building children’s academic skills, confidence, and resilience.
· Implement ongoing assessment and curricula that support individualization, meeting the needs, interests, and abilities of each child.
*Qualifications:*
Looking for energetic, dependable individual who enjoys working with young children and:
· Possesses an associate degree in early childhood education or related field (child/family development, health, psychology)
· Experience working with preschool children preferred.
Wage starts at $20/hour (associate degree); $21.
50 (bachelor’s degree).
Additional compensation based on education and experience.
