The Ishpeming School District announces a part-time full-year Early Childhood Assistant Instructor/Caregiver, at will position, up to 16 hours per week.
Candidates must possess the specific education and experience in a childcare setting as identified and approved by Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
Candidates may be required to demonstrate possession of skills commonly associated with the position, including, but not limited to oral reading, arts and crafts, and computer use.
Candidates must possess the ability to assist with individual students and small groups of students.
Candidates must have the ability to assist the Instructor with instruction of students, and care of young children.
Candidates must possess the ability to read to students and to participate in activities with children.
Candidates must possess the ability to assist the Early Childhood Instructor in providing a nurturing classroom atmosphere.
The Board of Education may employ a candidate with such alternate qualifications that the Board may find to be acceptable and appropriate.
