Job Description :
* *Assessment and Triage:* Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and presenting symptoms.
Prioritize care based on acuity and collaborate with the triage team to ensure timely evaluation of patients.
* *Emergency Interventions:* Perform emergency medical procedures such as CPR, wound care, medication administration, and splinting as needed.
Act swiftly and decisively in critical situations to stabilize patients.
* *Medication Management:* Administer medications following established protocols and guidelines, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to medication reconciliation procedures.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene as necessary.
* *Documentation and Charting:* Maintain accurate and thorough electronic medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
* *Patient Education:* Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
Empower patients to participate in their care and make informed decisions about their health.
*REQUIREMENTS: *
* 2+ Years of experience - *Required *
* ACLS (AHA)
* BLS (AHA)
* NRP
* PALS
* TNCC
```Duties:```
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the emergency room
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs based on acuity
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Assist in emergency procedures such as intubation, chest compressions, and wound care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (Cerner)
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [location]
- Minimum of [X] years of experience working in an emergency room setting
- Proficient in performing ostomy care, pain management, dementia care, esthetic laser treatment, IV insertion, and inhalation therapy
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system and ICD-9 coding
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
