*A typical day in the life as a Therapist:*
* Provides counseling, psycho-educational services, screenings and/or psychotherapy and diagnostic assessments per licensure capacity.
* Provides therapy for Sexual Abuse Prevention Treatment.
* Participates in mental health and substance use Disorders development activities.
* Coordinates client services.
* Maintains client records.
* Drive for agency business

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for direct provision of therapy, counseling and educational services within the scope of their licensure or certification within the Behavioral Health program.
This position provides therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups and represents the Agency in the field.
The position provides therapy for Sexual Abuse Prevention Treatment_*serving St.
Ignace and Upper Peninsula surrounding cities.

*Employment Qualifications:*
_Education:_
This position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling from an accredited college or university
_Experience:_
* A minimum three years of experience in therapy or related experience is strongly preferred
_Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:_
* This position requires State of Michigan certifications or licensure as specified per program.
* Certification as a Sex Offender Treatment Specialist with the Forensic Training Institute preferred.
* CAADC preferred
* Spanish-Speaking individual preferred.
_Supervisory Responsibilities:_
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
