About the Role
The Operations Technician supports operations on the production floor by completing a variety of day-to-day tasks.
Essential Function / Duties*
Document process sheet instructions, prints, tool lists, and inspection procedures to verify sequence and conformance to requirements.
Perform work on parts in secondary operations including but not limited to the following activities:
Level 1: Assembly, Bead blast, Tumble, Rework, Cleaning, Degreasing, Polishing, Passivation, Sawing, Manual machining, Deburring, and Packaging.
Level 2: All of the above plus Laser etch.
Level 3: All of the above plus Laser weld, Assembly setup.
Support shipping and receiving tasks.
Support Maintenance & Facilities.
Participate in the culture of 5S by creating an orderly work area.
Vigilantly recognize and report potentially hazardous conditions in production areas.
Document “fail safe” attributes of products and processes.
Convey Able’s culture and guiding principles through all work performed, as well as through interactions with customers and coworkers.
Demonstrate and inspire dedication to the company through visible actions.
Be flexible and adaptable to changes in workload and work collaboratively with others.

Work Schedule / Supervision
Position: Full-time: 40 hours/week, potential for more.
Overtime may be necessary.
Position Status: Non-exempt position; with compensation and without notice.
Recommended Education / Experience
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Entry-level; general interest in manufacturing careers preferred.
