Job Summary/Basic Function
The purpose of the Federal Work-Study Program is to give a student an opportunity to develop skills, gain on-the-job experience for future employment, and give the student flexibility to work around class schedules.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a Bay College student in the work study program to be considered for this position.
Eligibility for work-study is determined after you file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Work-study requires that you are enrolled for a minimum of six credits that applies towards semester you are employed.
You must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Must be open to working with medical simulation equipment.
Deadline discipline and the ability to work independently are critical
Being able to maintain confidentiality in regards to FERPA and HIPPA
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Windows
Allied Health student or medical background
Months Per Year
Work Hours Up to 13 hours per week (depends on your Work-study award)

Works under the direction of the Sim Lab Technician

Job Duties
Job Duty
Assist in with keeping track of inventory of supplies and equipment
Assist in maintaining inventory management software
Assist in setup and teardown of equipment in applicable classrooms and labs
Assist in setup and teardown of equipment in sims or training scenarios
Assist in setup of AV equipment and recordings
Assist in maintaining Laerdal equipment with Sim Lab Tech
Working with instructors and students to accommodate requested supplies for clinics and labs
Working with Sim Lab Technician to help troubleshoot equipment
Working with Sim Lab Technician to assist with any other related duties involving allied health department
