Role Summary The Electrical Planner is responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly planning of all planned and unplanned work for the mine electrical equipment.
Main Responsibilities | Activities Develop a progressive electrical maintenance plan that ensures production goals meet or exceed required Targets.
Maintain up to date electrical maintenance history for all assigned assets.
Schedule work orders related to routine maintenance (predictive and preventive) and corrective maintenance, identifying and securing the required resources (maintainers, materials, spare parts, tools, instruments and equipment), time involved, safety recommendations, procedures and technical information.
Create reports that track schedule compliance, completed work productivity, and availability metrics.
Coordinate with operations to prioritize work so that operations can complete daily production targets.
Schedule available manpower to ensure work is completed on time.
Work closely with the procurement department on ordering and tracking of parts to ensure planned maintenance is kept on schedule.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or GED required, College diploma and or Certifications in the electrical industry Experience working with high and low voltage systems 3-5 years of maintenance planning experience preferred.
SAP and MS office applications experience preferred.
Computer proficiency and knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling is required.
Self-directed and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative to do more than is expected or required in the position.
