Nurse Aide

Summary: Under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse or the Licensed Practical Nurse the Nurse Aide assists with nursing care for patients of all ages, participates in patient and family teaching and works as a member of the nursing team.
Responsibilities: QUALIFICATIONS: CPR required within thirty (30) days from date of hire.
Accucheck proficiency preferred.
Crisis management/restraint training required within forty-five (45) days from date of hire.
Must keep patients safe.

Required Education: EDUCATION: 1.
High school diploma or GED preferred or proof of status as a student in a school of nursing.
2.
Complete the MyMichigan Medical Center Certified Nurse Aide course within 12 months’ of hire.
