Resident Assistant - Long Term Care

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse or the Licensed Practical Nurse the Resident Assistant performs customer service duties and assists in maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for the residents while promoting resident comfort.
QUALIFICATIONS: CPR required within thirty (30) days from date of hire.
Accucheck proficiency preferred.
Crisis management/restraint training required within forty-five (45) days from date of hire.
Must keep patients safe.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED preferred or proof of status as a student in a school of nursing.
Required to complete CNA program within 12 month of the date of hire.
Location: Medical Center Sault Schedule: Casual, Any Shift
