Licensed Practical Nurse - Medical Acute

Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of the Registered Nurse, Manager Patient Care, or Administrative Supervisor.
Carries out routine patient care assignments on assigned shift; works and performs in controlled patient care situations and performs established nursing care procedures for individuals or groups of patients as delegated by Supervisory Personnel.
Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Graduate Practical Nurses are eligible.
Must become licensed within 90 Days of employment.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan BLS Certified and Maintain Certification Must successfully complete the BCA course within 6 months of hire or transfer and maintain.
