Omega House offers a peaceful, homelike environment for terminally ill people and provides end-of-life care that emphasizes compassion, independence, respect and dignity.
In cooperation with local hospice programs, Omega House provides residents with exceptional care and attention 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
The primary duty is to provide hospice residents with routine, daily nursing care.
Duties of the position include but are not limited to:
Providing individualized attention, which encourages the resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest practical, physical, mental and psycho-social well-being.
Attending to specific resident needs, such as: preparing meals, medication administration, grooming, bathing, transferring, and ambulation, range of motion, communicating, and observing /reporting changes in resident’s condition or behavior.
Applicant must be able to work independently.
Wages are commensurate with position and experience.
Qualifications
State of Michigan Certification or license required
High school or equivalent education
