Dental Hygienist

We are an uplifting, fun team that is looking for a second hygienist to grow with us! We treat our patients comprehensively and we are looking for a hygienist that is comfortable diagnosing gingival treatments based on disease.
We are looking for a hygienist that can gently yet efficiently perform these treatments in our office.
It is crucial that you be able to show proficiency in communicating to the patient their oral health status and if any home changes are needed.

Our team and patients are ready to welcome you on board! Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures competently, including adult prophy's, scaling for gingivitis, scaling and root planing and polishing teeth - Take diagnostic dental x-rays using digital sensors - Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Administer local anesthesia as needed, license required - Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software (ex: Eaglesoft) - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care, attend CE and office meetings Requirements: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
