Hiking Escanaba to Stephenson (Escanaba or near)

Stuck here working and there is nothing but bars to hang out or shop Any information about hiking or walking trails in the area.
Nothing to difficult but would enjoy before full on winter hits getting out and exploring this beautiful area.
Any where on either side or out in the country hidden spots to take in the views.
New to the area.
Could use some help finding places.
I’ve looked and most are just public walking spots.
Looking for those places to roam and enjoy.
Can get to trail in the area or south of Escanaba Thank you for any suggestions.
Great people around but everyone seems busy need to get out.
