Nice little 2010 Mazda CX-9.
Runs really well, and has lots of new parts.
Over the last year and a half I have done the following work:
Regular full synthetic oil changes
Transmission fluid exchange
Front drivers side wheel bearing (Fall 2022)
Rear passenger wheel bearing (Summer 2023)
All new pads, rotors, calipers (Summer 2023)
Brake booster (Summer 2023)
Entire exhaust system (Summer 2023)
Alternator (Winter 2023)
Battery (Winter 2023)
Radiator (Winter 2023)
Coil packs on back three cylinders
All new plugs
Hancook winter tires on aftermarket black rims (Fall 2023)
I have the summer tires on the stock rims in my basement right now.
There is about 35% life left on those.
Lots of work done, and the car is a solid vehicle.
It does have a pretty bad rust spot on the rear passenger door, not sure how that took off because none of the other doors are like that.
There are a few issues with the vehicle.
The rear hatch will not open.
I believe it is some sort of electrical issue with the automatic door.
I disconnected the push rod for the door opening mechanism and used it without for about 2 years, but just this passed fall I can't get the door open at all.
And first snow fall, when the traction control kicked on, the 4WD light started flashing.
I took it in, and I believe it is the rear differential.
That's when I decided to sell.
The vehicle drives great, rides nice.
Besides those couple issues, it's a really solid vehicle.
Here are some of the features on the vehicle:
Blind spot monitoring
Sun roof
Bose 10 speaker sound system (still sounds great)
Bluetooth
Leather heated seats
Navigation (never used it)
Bench 2nd row and 3rd row.
Seats 7 moderately sized people no problem.
Roof rack
Trailer hitch
All weather floor mats
Remote start
Fog lights
Sport shift
I believe this car could have a long life ahead of it.
It's certainly not perfect, but I've taken good care of it.
