I am selling my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 - Hemi
I bought this truck around 280,000 miles and have put almost 50,000 on it since.
I’ve driven it back and forth to college a number of times almost 2 hours away and never had any problems.
The person who owned it before me was a mechanic and rebuilt the engine ( I have no idea when it was done though).
I’ve driven this truck since High School and I’ve replaced much of the front end including control arms + ball joints, and have done regular oil changes.
Just a couple months ago I did the front brakes (back ones will need to be done soon).
The tires are a little cupped which causes a wobble going higher speeds.
The exhaust pipe broke off one side and it should be replaced, until then it just sounds a lot louder.
The gas tank has a big strap holding it up but it has never caused me any issues.
There is a small oil leak that hasn’t gotten any worse since I’ve had it (just gotta keep an eye on your oil level).
It also has rust as you can see from the pictures, and some dings and dents.
It has a busted taillight
that I taped back on and a busted side mirror that’s also taped on.
It has a bad CV joint that is only a couple hundred dollar fix.
Other than that, the 4 wheel drive works perfectly fine (high and low), it pulls fine, it has a lot of power.
The interior is in decent shape, all the windows work, radio works, heat works, AC does not.
It’s These engines run forever and I think as long as you treat it right it’s still got a lot more life left to it.
It would definitely make a good farm truck or for going down some rough roads… I’ve never gotten stuck with it.
-I’m asking $1500
-I have an extra set of larger rims with some summer tires and a tonal cover for an extra $250
